THANK GOD IT’S NOT FRIDAY
started off as Viruela in late 2016: 3 band members with a really acoustic sound formed by a cello, a piano, and a guitar. Viruela won the school’s talent show and the group started playing small shows in religious events around their hometown.
In mid-2017 the cellist left Laura and Yaiza to continue on their own. After almost naming themselves N O, Red Hoodie,
or Two Thirds, the band came up with Thank God It’s Not Friday.
They posted their first cover on YouTube and soon released their first EP with three songs: My Last Sunset, I Feel So Bad, and The End Of The World.
I Feel So Bad got them to the final stage of Radio 3’s Proyecto Demo.
